Varieties in the settings of the text in the overprints exist within the sheets and between the sheet stamps and the stamps in the souvenir sheet that accompanied the issue. See the Errors and Varieties pages.
The perforated variety of the souvenir sheet (Scott 89f, which is Scott 86f with an overprint) that reproduces two values from this set are perforated 13.5. Stamps removed from the overprinted souvenir sheet can be distinguished from the same stamps out of full sheets that were perforated 14.5. There is no way to discern if imperforate versions of the stamps are from imperforate souvenir sheets or the imperforate sheets.

First 3D Issue - Space Achievements, 30 October 1967
Set of 12, 8 postage + 4 airmail values, Scott 91-91K, MNH, imperforate as issued.
The airmail values of this set exist missing the silver "AIR MAIL" inscription. They are known mint in singles, as a set in a se-tenant sheetlet of 4, and on official, locally produced (non-agency) first day covers. See the Errors and Varieties pages).
This set exists perforated. They are scarce, but no quantity information is available. Perforated values are usually offered in one of the four different se-tenant sheetlets of 4 that the P&T sold (which were only portions of the larger press sheets from which the individual stamps were cut). The perforating was done locally in Bhutan as an effort to find a way to conveniently separate the stamps from the se-tenant sheetlets that the Bhutan Stamp Agent's printer (Toppan Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan) delivered to Bhutan. Because the perforating was done by hand, copies of sheetlets exist with double and triple rows of perforations (probably from trials of the perforating device used). For illustrations and offers of the perforated versions, see the Errors and Varieties pages.
The four different perforated se-tenant sheetlets of 4 exist on official Bhutan cacheted and postmarked (i.e., locally produced, non-agency) first day covers. A full, imperforate press sheet exists in private hands (in Florida, as of 1.1.2010), which was a result of an earlier gift to someone from the Bhutan stamp agent. Others likely exist in or from the defunct agency's stock that was shipped to Pennsylvania and into the hands of the ex-agent's family.
